Nimirnthu Nil is very inspiring & entertaining: Jayam Ravi

Jayam Ravi’s Samuthirakani directed Nimirnthu Nil is releasing this Friday (March 7). The film directed by Samuthirakani is very crucial for Ravi. His last release Aadhi Bhagawan was lukewarm at the box-office, and he needs a hit.

How did Nimirinthu Nil happen?
I had given my dates to Mr KS Srinivasan of Vasan Visual Ventures and we were on the lookout for a good director. I heard Samuthirakani sir had a couple of exciting scripts. I chose the Nimirinthu Nil script which had me hooked. I agreed to do the film where I play a dual role, even though in Aadhi Bhagawan too it was a double role. 

What got you hooked to the film?I loved Kani’s script and the way it unfolds. It has a very inspiring social message which is packed with the right commercial mix of action, adventure, love and comedy. 

What is the message?

It is a nice social message – Be the change you want to see. Film revolves around this social message. 

 

Tell us about your roleI play two characters with different shades. One of them is Aravindan Sivasamy a IT professional in his late 20’s and the other guy Narasimha Reddy a don sort of character in his late 40’s. The characters are not related in any way. 

What about other actors in the film ? 
You will see a different Amala Paul in the film, she has performed well. Ragini Dwidevi dances superbly. Soori is there throughout the film and his comedy works big time. Sharat Kumar sir makes a deadly cameo appearance, while Nassar sir has a crucial role. And Vijay TV anchor Gopinath also plays an important role. Samuthirakani has packaged it as a commercial entertainer. 

The trailer looks slick with lots of special effects.It is made like a racy thriller with awesome special effects. There are two terrific action scenes and two chase scenes which are super. A lot of special effects and graphics have gone into the film. 

How is GV Prakash’s music ?
There are 5 songs in the film. GV Prakash music is one of the highlights of the film, most are melodies.  Gana Bala's mass number “Don't Worry Be Happy..” song and its picturisation is simply awesome. 

Ravi needs a hit. How confident are you about Nimirinthu Nil ?Let me tell you I’m very confident and proud about Nimirinthu Nil. My dad who is my biggest critic saw a special screening. After the show I expected him to say negative points first, instead he just hugged me, Iater he told me that he liked it immensely.
